Being passionate about renewable energy and innovative technologies, Olena Rachkovsky focuses her practice on corporate, commercial, real estate, and IP matters, assisting solar and real estate developers, IT companies, and other small and mid-size clients in their daily operations. She advises businesses on general contract matters, joint ventures, and corporate governance, as well as on creating internal policies and registering trademarks.

Having studied and worked in multiple countries, Olena approaches legal matters with a unique international perspective. Before joining MarksDiPalermo, Olena worked as a compliance officer for a solar development company and as a researcher at Touro Law Center. In addition, as a junior associate in the corporate and M&A practice at Everlegal law firm in Kyiv, Ukraine, Olena advised Ukrainian clients on the sale of their projects to foreign investors and advised international companies and individual clients on their activities in Ukraine.

While in law school, Olena worked as a mediator at Small Claims Courts in Brooklyn and the Bronx as part of the NYU Law Mediation Clinic. She also wrote articles for the Life at NYU Law Blog. In her free time, Olena enjoys sketching and painting, hiking, and learning foreign languages. Olena is fluent in English, Ukrainian, and Russian and is proficient in German.
